The mock exam format

You will get access to the official PRINCE2®7 Practitioner exam tool developed and made available by peoplecert.org
After setting up your account and redeeming your voucher code, you will be able to start the exam directly in the PeopleCert portal.

To simulate the actual exam, you will get 70 random questions and will have 2 hours 30 minutes to complete them.
To pass the mock exam, you will need to reach at least 60%, which means 42 questions correct out of 70.

What is PRINCE2®7?

PRINCE2®7 is the latest version of the PRINCE2® project management methodology, launched by PeopleCert in September 2023. This update is the most significant in over a decade and incorporates modern best practices in project management.

How does the official mock exam work?

After purchasing the official PRINCE2®7 Practitioner mock exam, we will generate a voucher code for you.

With that, you will need to register an account at peoplecert.org to access the mock exam under the “Overview” menu section.

Here, you can click “START” to begin the test.

First, you get introduced to the official exam tool, which will also be used for the actual exam
Then, you need to accept the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Now, you will receive the instructions on how to navigate the tool
And finally, by clicking “Start Exam” the fun begins
At the end of your Mock Exam, you will receive a test report with full marked results, indicating areas of improvement

How much time do I have for the mock exam?

The voucher can be redeemed after up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

Once you start your mock exam, you have 24 hours to complete it.

And to anwers all questions, you will have 60 minutes.

How much time do I have for the actual PRINCE2®7 Practitioner exam?

For the PRINCE2®7 Practitioner exam, you have 2 hours 30 minutes by default, but you get 25% extra time if your chosen exam language is not your native language.

Native speakers get roughly 130 seconds per question, while non-native speakers get roughly 155 seconds.

How close are the PRINCE2®7 Practitioner practice questions to the actual exam questions?

These practice questions are randomly selected from a large pool containing the actual exam questions, you might even get one of these during the official exam.

How many times can I try the PRINCE2®7 Practitioner mock exam?

The mock exam is available one time. If you want to try it another time, it needs to be purchased again, as a new mock exam voucher code needs to be generated by PeopleCert.

When is my result good enough to try the actual test?

To pass the official PRINCE2®7 Practitioner exam, you need to have 42 correct answers out of 70 questions. That is 60%.
Nevertheless, we suggest to aim for a better score on the practice test, somewhere around 53-56 corect answers or 75%-80%, as the actual exam questions might be a bit harder.
